��૧૮૮૫ – જાપાન, કાટ અવરોધક રંગના શોધકને જાપાનનો પ્રથમ પેટન્ટ અધિકાર અપાયો.
��૧૮૯૩ – ફ્રાન્સે વાહન નોંધણીની શરૂઆત કરી.
૧૯૦૮ – 'ફોકસ્ટોન' યુ.કે.માં પ્રથમ વખત સૌંદર્ય સ્પર્ધાનું આયોજન કરાયું.
